Up-and-coming chip market challenger VIA Technologies yesterday announced a pair of new Cyrix III processors, upping the high-end clock speed on the low-end CPU line. The processors won’t break any speed records at 650MHz and 667MHz, but at a targeted price of $55-$67 each in 1,000-unit quantities, they also won’t break the bank.
